Starting from 1st January 2005 Lech-Stahlwerke changes to a monthly calculation of the alloy surcharges for high-quality steel. This had been made necessary by the continuously rising prices of alloy elements and also in order to harmonise the alloy surcharges with the calculation of the scrap surcharges which already takes place monthly.
Surcharges are applicable to all high-quality steels and refer to the agreed upon analyses between producer and customer. The alloy surcharges here published are expressed in €/ton and refer to the standard analyses according to SEL 11th Edition 2003 or to the generally known customer’s norms such as Ford, Opel, Volkswagen, Volvo, ZF.. In case of modified analyses or special steel grades there can be modifications in the alloy surcharges which appear on invoices. Please contact our Sales Office for further information:
