The liquid steel is finally cast into blooms by two separate continuous casting machines. Reinforcing steel is cast in free gush while quality steel is cast with submerged nozzle to prevent re-oxidation. The shaping of the steel into the diverse billets sections and bar diameters takes place during the next step again in two separate rolling mills. The heat-treatment in the walking beam furnace of the rolling mill 2 provides the raw steel with the suitable properties for the re-shaping.
