In our mechanical laboratory the following inspections are carried out:
Automatic inspection of ribbed reinforcing steel bars consisting of sawing, checking of the meter weight, measuring of the ribs and testing of the tensile strength
System Zwick Roell SMZ1200H (HASY)
Other inspection methods as follows:
Tensile test with micro-train measurement (20-1180kN)
Notched bar impact bend test as well as tests to ascertain the dynamic breaking load (Brugger-Test)
Hardness test according to Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell
Determination of the Jominy hardenability
Simulation of technical heat-treatments such as normalizing, case hardening, quenching and tempering and isothermal transformations
Determination of the degree of freedom from course non-metallic inclusions with the ultrasonic full immersion inspection according to SEP1927 for round bars and square billets
