In charge of the sale and marketing of our reinforcing steel bars (re-bars) is our branch office LSB GmbH also in Meitingen. Re-bars are produced in the range from 8 to 32 mm in diameter according to the Tempcore method. This means that the heat-treatment takes place directly at the end of the rolling so that the energy to warm up again the bars can be spared.
Quality
Reinforcing steel is at the very core of every building and in consequence of this must be 100% reliable. That’s why it is tested to control it has the needed resistance. Our re-bars are tested in a precisely equipped test centre for this scope. This testing unit consists of various stages such as the sawing of the testing bar, the assurance of its meter weight, the measurement of the lateral rib and of the tensile strength. Our reinforcing steel comply with the norm DIN 488 and meets the requirements for the mechanical characteristics expected for this type of steel.
